Each sandwich panel consists of a central insulation core and metal cover panels on both sides. It combines high strength and high stability through a continuous molding process. 

It should be noted that the sandwich panel is not used as a load-bearing structural material. Instead, it is primarily used for functions such as insulation, fire prevention, sound insulation, airtightness, and quick installation. The sandwich panel is an indispensable enclosure system solution in modern prefabricated buildings.

How to Produce The Sandwich Panels?

Raw Material Inspection

All panels will pass equipment inspection before going online to ensure that its flatness is controlled within 0.5 mm/m, providing a stable foundation for subsequent shaping.

Unrolling

The metal coil passes through the unrolling machine and enters a multi-pass leveling rolling system, effectively eliminating warping and internal stress on the panel surface. 

Forming

After entering the forming machine, the panels are gradually pressed by multiple progressive rolls to form the side locking structure and panel reinforcement ribs. This enables panels to maintain lightweight while having higher structural stability. 

Filling

According to different applications, fill the core materials such as PU, rock wool or EPS so that the panel can be precisely matched in terms of insulation, fire resistance, or sound insulation performance. 

Cutting

Cutting

After the core material is filled, the flying saw machine rough cuts the panels while continuously conveying. Cutting length is automatically controlled based on preset parameters.

PU Edge Sealing

The edge sealing machine either sprays a special PU sealant onto the panel’s end face or uses an aluminum alloy edge strip combined with PU foaming to fill the gap.

For cold storage and cleanroom panels, it will embed additional low-temperature-resistant sealing strips to maintain airtightness, moisture-proofing, and no core material exposure at the end.

Curing

PU core panels require 24–48 hours of curing to ensure complete foam curing and a stable density of over 40 kg/m³. While the rock wool or EPS core panels require curing for 12–24 hours to ensure the adhesives are fully cured and the structure is stable.

Fixed-length Cutting

After curing, the panels enter the fixed-length cutting process. Per the order requirements, the final size is cut to ensure a high degree of alignment with the construction drawings. 

Testing

The finished sandwich panels will undergo inspections for dimensions, tolerances, appearance, and key performance to ensure that each core panel delivered to your site complies with the technical requirements.
